Support in natural referencing (SEO)
Natural referencing, commonly called SEO (Search Engine Optimization), consists of improving the positioning of a site in the results pages of search engines (Google for the majority of searches, but also Bing, Yahoo, etc.).
An "SEO-friendly" site is a site that will efficiently index its content to give it the best chances to appear in the first search results and thus bring it more visibility and more traffic;
To do this, certain good practices are systematically taken into account by the team:
- Implementation of an intuitive and structured tree structure from the design phase, which helps not only users but also search engines to find their way around
- Respect of basic technical measures during the development of the interface: correct use of meta tags and alt/title tags, implementation of a sitemap, respect of the Hn structure, well constructed URLs, etc.
- Optimized mobile display (responsive)
- Training on SEO best practices for administrators/webmasters
Depending on the project, the team can also intervene on:
- The implementation of an automatic redirection plan (also called 301 redirection plan) in the case of a redesign, in order to avoid generating 404 pages (error pages) that lead to the loss of referencing
- The editorial support: choice of relevant keywords, content structuring, internal linking (internal links leading to other pages of the site), backlinks (external links leading to the site), text length, image optimization, etc.
- The traffic analysis which can lead to recommendations and an action plan
The SEO optimization of a site is a completely transverse aspect, which concerns both the choices of tree structure, design, technical but also content and marketing strategy. Expert members of the team are able to provide advice at every stage of the project with this in mind.
